I always wondered why people would wake up early to torture themselves by running. However, the last two days I have woke up at 5:30am and ran/walked 1.25 miles and I have to say it's not so bad. It is much cooler, there are no kids yelling MOM and no other people that you have to run around. I never really thought I liked running much and I still can not say I love it but hopefully it will continue to grow on me. So far I have made it about half of the 1.25 miles running so now I have to continue until I can at least run the entire track. :-) Only 2 days in but hopefully I will be able to keep up the momentum so I can shed some more weight.
Not only have I enjoyed the running but it gives me an extra 30 mins at the house before the boys wake up to get their lunches and breakfast made, which seems to make everything a lot less stressful in the morning.
