Katie and I went to a new store today in town. They sold fabric, thread, buttons, ribbon and a lot of home appliances. It wasn't nearly as crowded as the other fabric store but also didn't have nearly the variety either. The store was pretty clean and wasn't too hot or smell much. The workers were very nice and they were very speedy in checking us out. It's funny that I now see a store as being a good store because it didn't smell. I found some fabric to make a table cloth with a clock for my kitchen and a juicer for Kenny to make lemonade with. After the store I had Bungo take us to eat at Lookal. I think they were both questioning were I was taking them but it all ended well.

On the way home Katie and I were talking about how far both of our families have come since moving here. It's funny how things we seen in the beginning and just couldn't believe is now our norm and we don't even think twice about it. We were talking in the car about something and then she said, "Look how many eggs that lady has on her head" and I said, "I bet they are hard boiled" and Katie said, "She even has some kind of dipping sauce on top of them". We started laughing and Katie said, "If we had this conversation in the US people would think we were crazy".

Inside the restaurant Lookal. Your table is next to the beach. The weather has been really nice here lately. In the middle 80's without much humidity. For lunch we paid about $30 a piece for a chicken dinner meal. Not bad for a nice restaurant.
