Thursday I had a tea for Jacobs class to try and get some moms together so we could plan the spring fair and a few other things. First, I should start by saying I do not like teas....having or attending. They just are not my "cup of tea". I had it anyway and had about 4 ladies say they would come. All morning I stressed over it and then only 2 ladies showed up. I knew that I didn't have much volunteer help from his class but I was hoping for a few more to show up. I know it is harder here to do things because not everyone always has a driver but I was still hoping for a few more. I made tortilla roll ups and banana muffins for snack and Katie helped me out with the dishes for the tea itself.
Last night for dinner I thought I would try to make lasagna. I couldn't find regular lasagna noodles but I found something similar just a little smaller. I also made a cheesy onion & garlic bread in the bread machine. The lasagna was a success and everyone loved it.
Some mozzarella I found...only cost $38 for the big block. :-(
This is the size of noddles I found for lasagne....a little small but it worked.
Lasagne before cooked.
