Package

Monday we received a package from Kenny's grandparents, Mema and Pepa. The boys have been waiting for it for a month now. When Kenny got home with it he made them close their eyes and smell the package because it had juicy fruit gum in it. Jared was the first one to guess and he said it was from Pepa. They know his gum that's for sure. :-) They both had some gum and a card and they sent me some vegetable seeds. My two favorite that I have been wanting was okra and jalapeno peppers...two very hard things to find here. I have already planted the pepper seeds and had the gardener plant the okra seeds. The package was mailed on September 3rd and we received it on October 10th. My parents and Kenny's dad also sent a package that we have not received yet. Maybe one of these days we will get them. :-)

Thanks Mema and Pepa for the gum...they tore each piece into lots of pieces so they could have a piece each day and it would last longer. I guess they are learning something from living here. :-)
