Dinner at the Amer's

Last night the Amer's invited us over for dinner. They are from Egypt and a very nice family. They grilled some beef and some chicken kabobs and had rice and salad....then she made brownies for dessert. It was very good food. After dinner we were sitting around talking and Wael was telling us how good his oldest daughter could sing and she said she would sing if her mom would belly dance for us. After all the kids showing their talents we finally talked Shimo into doing a little belly dancing and she was very good. I told her she could probably teach a class in the compound...she said no thanks. The kids played wii and the adults played pictionary. I don't think any of us should take up drawing anytime soon....but we had a lot of fun. :-) Farah decided she would do some face painting on the kids and they all loved it. We also found out that sweet Hana calls Jared her "Fluffy bug"...so we gave him a hard time about that. I asked him what he calls her and he said, "Just Hana".
