Today I went fishing with 4 other ladies outside of Luanda. We didn't catch any fish but we seen lots of great scenery and got a nice tan. We left about 9am and got back to the dock at 2pm. We went to an area that they call ship wrecked beach. They say that all the ships were brought here by the current and not by man. On the ride back we stopped off at some of the other boats that were fishing and one of them had shrimp for sale. We were able to get 1 kilo of shrimp for $30 which is about $20 less than in town they say.
This is the dock that we left from.
This is the Ilha and downtown city.
Here is shipwreck beach(I think that is what they call it).
Fishermen....catching sardines.
Djurdja, Julie, Amelia, Isabel
This was the scenery the whole way...it was beautiful.
This is the boat we bought our shrimp off of. This looked like sting rays.
Here they are weighing it.
They just put our boat up to theirs and we waited while they sacked up the shrimp.
Here they are...very very big. I will NOT be eating them. YUCK!!
