After school activities

Here at the school they email a sign up sheet for different after school activities for those in grade 1(Kind) and up. They range anywhere from softball, fun and games, chess, judo, soccer, swimming, volley ball, dance, yoga and on and on. They run for 6 weeks at a time and then they have a new sign up for different ones for another 6 weeks. This time I signed Jacob up for soccer and swimming. If they are in an after school activity the bus driver has their schedule and he takes the other students home and then comes back to the school to pick up the ones staying for their activities. Yesterday, Jacob had soccer and so I had my driver drop me off at the school at 2:30 before he went to get Kenny and I stayed with Jacob for soccer to show him where to go and change and then where to go get back on the bus. He had fun yesterday and looked forward to swimming today. Since Kenny had to work late I kept Batista and had him take me to the school at 2:30 and wait on us until after swimming was over at 4pm. They had a little test in swimming today to make sure they could swim the length of the pool and they had Jacob swim it twice and they said that he passed and he will be on the swim team for the school. They start practice next Tuesday and if they don't have to many students then they will have swim practice on Tuesday and Thursday and then he has soccer on Wednesday after school. It is nice that they have all their activities right after school and not later in the evening like in the states because they get them over with when they get home they are done for the day. Plus mom doesn't have to run them to 50 different places for all the different practices. Saturday he starts boy scouts here at the compound and he is really excited about that. I took a few pictures of soccer and swimming. It's kind of hard to see him in some of them. He told me last night that he loved LIS and I said oh good and he said but I wish I could have LIS in Marlow. :-)

He is the one in the orange shirt on the left of the picture.
