Thailand - Day 2

Tuesday we took a tour to some island around Phuket. We went to Phi Phi Island, Maya Island, Monkey Island and a couple others.

This is the beach where they filmed "The Beach" movie. I think I should watch the movie now.

Kenny and the boys. The sand here was so soft and silky and white. We stayed here for about 30 minutes.

A long tail boat.

This is a cove we went into and everyone could jump off the boat and go swimming.

This is an area that birds...I think swallows make nest with their spit and they harvest these nest to make soups and stuff out of them.

Then we went to monkey island. They don't let people go on shore anymore because someone got bit by a monkey. They pull the boat up close and let you throw bananas to the monkeys. They are great at catching the bananas too.

This one caught Jacob's banana.

Jacob and Kenny snorkeling. This was the first time the boys have went snorkeling so I was a little worried but they loved it and did great.

 These were some statue on the island that we stopped and had lunch.
