Chess tournament

Jacob just started learning chess this semester in his after school chess club. He competed in his first chess tournament a couple of weekends ago and he was 71 out of 87. Not bad for his first time...he was very proud of himself and so was mom. I told him I didn't care if he lost everyone I just wanted him to try his best. He ended up winning 2, tying 3, and losing 2 matches. I was there to support Jacob but I must say chess is probably one of the most boring things to watch. It might help if I knew how to play but then I would probably be yelling like I do in baseball. :-)

After their matches they had this guy that played 18 matches at one time. He was very very good.
