Dubai - Day 1

We arrived in Dubai this morning about 4am. We all got maybe 1 hour of sleep on the flight. Jacob didn't get sick until we landed. I think on our flight to Thailand I will give him the maximum dosage of Dramamine and see if that works better. We got to our hotel about 5:30am and took a nap until about 9 then went to Emirates Mall and had lunch. Can you guess what Jacob had? Pizza Hut of course and Jared had the same. Kenny found a Burger King that we ate at. I don't normally like Burger King but it tasted so good.

After lunch we went to Ski Dubai and stayed until every one's toes were frozen. After playing in the snow we had dinner at Chili's(which was awesome) and then did a little shopping.

The boys at a fountain inside Emirates Mall.

A silly store window in the mall.

The pictures are not in order for some reason. This is Hana, Adam and Jacob waiting to catch our flight to Dubai.

Shimo and Kenny being silly.

Jared with the panda bear at Ski Dubai.

The boys getting their clothes to go inside.

Jared ready to go play in the snow.

Jacob ready to play.

An ice sculpture inside.

About to go bobsledding.

The boys and I inside.

Kenny and Jared after finishing a ride.

The boys and I about to go down the bumpy hill.

The boys and I going down.

Kenny waiting for the boys.

Jared finishing his ride.

I think he liked it.

Jacob finishing the ride.

He had fun too.

About to get on the chair lifts.

Kenny and Jacob going up.

Jared and I going up. I told him I didn't like heights and to be still and so of course he started shaking it even more.

Waiting to ride the ball. By this point all of our toes were frozen.

Kenny and I waiting to ride the ball.

Jared coming down.

Bad picture...but this is Jared when he finished his turn. He did not like it much.

Jacob when he finished the ride.

Kenny coming down.

When Kenny went to get out of the ball it slid and he fell out.

We even seen some penguins.

Some fancy cars we seen outside of the mall.

A hypermarket....Jacob said that is what casinos look like in Oklahoma. :-)
