I was afraid I might get kicked out of Angola before I got my money back but I didn't. It only took 5 women, 1 man, 4 weeks, 3 days and 2 hours to get my money back but I did it. I am not sure it has ever happened in Angola before but it has now. I was holding back my smile while in the store but when I was outside I couldn't hold back. The technician that was there was trying to get me to take the old machine and he told me the most important thing is the guarantee....he said if you take this one home and it breaks I can bring it back and they will fix it again. If that were really the case I wouldn't be in the situation I am in now and I would have had my machine back 3 weeks ago. I said no thank you I will just take my money. I had to get the manager because the same lady was telling me they do not give money back. (When I got my money back I so wanted to go and give her a big smile and say YES YOU DO!!!) Once the manager got there I called the lady at Kenny's office because no one seemed to remember they just talked to her 2 hours earlier. They talked on the phone again and then the manager called someone else and after about 45 minutes she gave me my money. I told Katie they should take some lessons from Wal-Mart who will take back anything almost.
When I called Kenny and told him he could not believe it. He had told me I shouldn't expect to get anything out of this situation. I think he forgot how persistent I am. My mom says I have to much Conway in me. That's ok it got my $231 back!!!! Now I need to find a new ice machine. I think I will try to get one without a warranty and maybe it will last longer. :-)
