100th year since the sinking of the Titanic

Jacob's class has been fascinated with the Titanic for the last month or so. Jacob and a girl at his table decided to plan a little remembrance day for the 100th year. Jacob asked me to make a cake and then each of them did some research to share with the class.

Instead of doing a plain sheet cake....Shimo and I decided to "try" and go all out. :-) I think it turned out looking somewhat like a sinking Titanic ship. The kids loved it and could not believe we made it with our own hands.
