Monday we were supposed to have a new maid start and she didn't show up so Kenny called her and she said she changed her mind and wanted more money. I was not going to start on this note so I told her never mind. I asked my gardener if he knew of anyone needing a job and he said yes his sister-in-law. HOWEVER....she has never been a maid before. What to do, what to do? He brought her to the house Wednesday morning and I told her how much we paid and what all she was supposed to do and she said ok she wanted to do it. I had my driver tell her that I would give her 2 weeks and see how she was doing and see if she still liked the job. I learned my lesson after the first maid and decided I would be upfront with this one about everything. I had my driver tell her that I would not tolerate stealing; that if she needed something let me know and I would help out anyway I could.
The first day I showed her how to clean the bathrooms, bedrooms and how to make the beds. I showed her how to clean the kitchen and vacuum the rugs and sweep and mop the floors. Today I showed her how to do laundry and she did very well at all of it. We will see how tomorrow goes!
