Halloween

I can not believe I almost forgot to post pictures from Halloween. We didn't bring any costumes with us because we couldn't find them at the time. Now I know order online. :-) When we went to Cape Town we were able to find a couple of costumes for the boys. Probably not what they really wanted but Halloween is not a big thing here. The boys have learned to "take what you get" living here. Angola is definitely not a place you can be picking about anything. ;-) So Jacob got a mask and a black robe thing and Jared was a ninja. Jacob ended up not liking the mask because it was a little big so he had Farah paint his face instead. He looked good and scary. Jared had Farah paint a eye mask on him. The compound had a Halloween party for the kids at the club house and they played games and had pizza and drinks. After the party the kids went door to door trick or treating to houses that had a pumpkin sign hanging on their door. The boys walked around with Farah, Adam and Hana for about an hour. Farah said that Jared and Hana were so tired by the time they got to her house they didn't want to go anymore. Kenny and I stayed home and passed out candy.

Shimo in her daughters wig. It was so funny because everyone was looking at her funny and then one guy went to Shimo's husband and asked him if that was her real hair. She is from Egypt so normally she has a scarf on and no one sees her hair.

The dads participated in the mummy wrapping game. They didn't win...Jacobs team did.

Like musical chairs but they danced until the music went off and then they had to go to a corner (witches, ghost, etc) and they drew and whatever they drew that corner was out of the game.

Harry Potter even stopped by the house. :-)
