You can not find either one! Our first day here we bought some chicken at the local meat market and since then we can not find it anywhere. We have looked at 5 stores minimum and everyone says "Nao Frango". We did finally find a bag of frozen chicken breast last weekend at Kero and we are trying out the first of it tonight. Hopefully, it will turn out to be like what you buy at Wal-Mart and our search will be over. The way things are around here they probably will not have it next time we go to get some. :-)
We have one phone in our house that is used to call other houses in the compound. We all have a 3 digit number and a list of every one's number in the compound. We need another phone to connect to our Vonage phone system so we can call family and friends in the states on our local US number. We didn't bring one because Kenny thought you could get one here. Everyone in Luanda has cell phones and no home phones, probably because a lot of them do not always have electricity at their houses. We have looked at the mall, at a local home store, and today Batista looked at a store downtown. He found one but it cost $75. I said no thank you we will wait on the one mom and dad are mailing us.
