The last couple of days our water has been on and off through out the day. We received an email yesterday that the company that supplies water to our compound has not supplied it for the last 2 days so we should ration water and they do not know how long it will be off. As soon as I heard this I filled up every bucket and sick and bathtub in the house. Washed all dishes and clothes and mopped the house. When the boys got home from their friends house I went to give them a shower while the water was still working and not 2 minutes after I turned the shower on the water went off. I made them both stand in the bathtub because the water was so cold and I quickly washed them. Neither of them liked it at all and they both let me know. :-) This morning when Kenny woke up the water was working but by the time he got in the shower it went off again. When I got up about 6:15 the water was working so I took a quick shower. I drained the bathtub water since it was dirty and was going to refill it for tonight and the water went off again. This morning it was on and off but this afternoon it has been on. I hope it stays on until we leave in the morning for the camp out.
Last night there was a huge wedding across the street at the club house and it didn't start until 8:30pm when they played the loudest wedding march I have ever heard. The music started about 10pm and didn't stop until about 1:30am. I kind of understand and am ok with the parties across the street on Friday and Saturday nights....but on week nights when kids have school the next day and dads have to go to work, that is ridiculous. Also, I have heard there is a rule in the compound bylaws that they are supposed to turn the music down after 10 or 11pm and I think it only gets louder after that time. I haven't complained yet because Kenny tells me to keep my mouth shut but I can only handle it so many times. Not sure when that breaking point will come but I bet it is sooner rather than later. :-)
Tomorrow in the morning we are leaving with the boy scouts to go to turtle beach for a one night camp out. They say there are about 60 turtle nest marked already so hopefully we will get to see some sea turtles come up and lay their eggs on the beach. Last year they got a lot of great pictures of the turtles. We had to buy a tent when we went to London so we would be able to go but I think we have everything now. Our driver is taking us and he will be staying the night as well. I tried to find a tent for him but he says he will just sleep in the car. It should be a fun trip and hopefully I will have some good pictures to share with everyone on Sunday.
